The “Würst Band in Music City”?! That’s what you get when you combine the misfit instruments of the musical world … accordion, banjo, tuba, and clarinet. Throw in just enough saxophone, trumpet, percussion, Irish whistle, guitar, kazoo, recorder, drums, and vocals to make things interesting, and guess what you’ve got?! Four grown men in leather shorts playing your favorite polkas and waltzes!
Just for everyone’s sanity, their set list creates a healthy dose of early jazz, standards, and country. Since they’ve gone that far, find out what the Beatles, Disney hits, and your favorite pop acts sound like played by a polka band!

4 Nashville musicians with decades of professional experience between them bring exceptional music and over-the-top fun to your next event. Good Bellows has performed at Octoberfests, parties, festivals, and Christmas markets all over the Southeast. With arrangements created by all 4 members, you will hear dozens of familiar tunes with brand new twists. A mashup of Penny Lane with a polka? (“The Penny Polka”)…got that. Adele and Lady Gaga interpreted by accordion and tuba?…done. We start with 4 sets of music- roughly 60% polkas and waltzes, and 40% everything else- pop, rock, standards, country, Disney, etc., (that ratio can vary depending on your needs). On top of that, we can add, at your request, more options-
- A complete Beatles set, with creative original arrangements of their classics, including Beatles costumes
- An authentic Alphorn demonstration and performance.
- Imported Alpen Bells, demonstrated and played, and even performed in a hilarious audience participation song.
- Our own sound system, so we can be completely self-contained.
- Options to stroll through your event acoustically, or perform “unplugged” in offstage locations.
- Options to play as duo or trio if needed.
- Option to play background (dinner) music as an accordion quartet

But the fun isn’t over when the kegs run dry! In November and December head down to the nation’s largest German Christmas festival*; Cullman, Alabama’s Christkindlmarkt, where Good Bellows is the resident Christmas band for multiple weekends.
Besides playing multiple stages, we love to stroll the grounds, playing a variety of holiday standards, German Christmas songs, and novelty tunes.
